Wow, it feels like I blinked, and the summer holidays are over! I’m sure time flies faster as you get older, or maybe it is just because I have been super busy with my day job. I still managed to squeeze in a trip to Cornwall, family BBQ’s, beach walks, and lots of music!

Music for Mind turned into a two-day online event, with a pre party and an after party and we raised a whooping £619!! The support I had literally blew my Mind and I feel a little overwhelmed at how much we achieved, all in memory of Zoe.

After the success of the online event, I was approached by a local venue, and I am in the process of organizing Music for Mind in real life!! I feel so incredibly excited to have the opportunity to bring more people together through music whilst raising money for Mind…..although also incredibly nervous that it won’t be a success and that I will fail. I try to take the opportunities given to me and I will do my best, that’s all I can do. If anything, it is really teaching me a lot about Canva and social media!

My Custom Designs has kind of taken a back seat since July, I have lots of ideas, I just haven’t had the time to action them all. Christmas planning is in full force and a few new products are on order and will be launching soon!!

I was reminded over the summer as to why I started MCD. Although with my day job I still get to work for myself (yes I was crazy and set up two business’!), it’s MCD that has my heart. Now busy season is over, I am looking forward to re focusing my energy, spending more time at home, and enjoying my favourite time of year.

I love Autumn, I love when the seasons are just turning, the late summer sunshine and chilly mornings and evenings. The colours as the leaves change. Long walks, hot chocolates and sweaters!!!
